Mewa Processing Station is located high in elevation within the pristine Helena Forest.
For local farmers, this forest is a source of pride—much like saying “I live in Xinyi District” or “I live in Da’an District” in Taiwan. It represents prestige and quality. They are proud of the coffee cherries grown in this untouched forest environment.
In the cup, you’ll taste native varieties from Helena, showing excellent sweetness and remarkable clarity. The first sip brings notes of sweet mandarin and fresh orange juice, followed by a gentle finish reminiscent of Assam black tea with milk—a soft, milk-tea–like aroma lingering on the palate.
Mewa Processing Station
Ethiopia Nensenbo MEWA N. is a coffee-producing region located within Helena Forest, home to a significant number of native forest species. With an altitude of 2,200 meters, this region contributes to the coffee's rich and complex flavors. The presence of abundant shade trees slows down the ripening process, enhancing the coffee's sweetness. The Mewa processing station sources cherries from approximately 40 farmers, all growing their coffee at elevations ranging between 2,200 and 2,400 meters.
