Product Info

In Hebrew, Nahaliel means “the valley of God.”

Just like its beautiful name, the Geisha we were able to purchase this year carries an incredible sense of life and place.

The cherries had an exceptionally high sugar content. Even with a very light roast, the surface of the beans developed a unique coffee-brown color through the interaction of natural sugars and the Maillard reaction. Yet in the cup, the sweetness remains incredibly clean and pure — like natural cane sugar, honey, and the delicate sweetness of ripe fruit.

During the first cupping, I was deeply moved by the pure expression of terroir in the cup.

It felt almost exactly like the experience I had walking through the farms in Bambito, Panama — the scent of the soil, the leaves, the fruit, the coffee blossoms, and the quiet atmosphere of the valley itself.

It was as if all of those details had been preserved, untouched, inside this lot: GH 4 Abr.

This year, we were only able to purchase 1.5 kilograms.

If you have the chance to visit Oasis in July or August, we would love to share this beautiful and delicate honey-processed Geisha with you — a coffee that carries its journey from seed to cup with remarkable purity.
