Hi everyone 👋

Our 2026 cupping sessions will mark the conclusion of our 2025 chapters on “Water” and “Grind Size.”

This year, we’re excited to open a brand-new chapter together with you: the Brew Ratio (Coffee-to-Water Ratio).

 

The brew ratio has always been a key factor in the brewing process—it often determines how far extraction and dissolution can go.

In immersion-style cupping, with its single-pour system, it also allows us to design some truly interesting and insightful extraction combinations.

In our recent cupping sessions, we introduced a “Difficulty Bonus Challenge,”

and were pleasantly surprised by how much everyone enjoyed it!

 

This time, we’ll continue the tradition:

within several cupping sets, we’ll include a few challenge questions.

The participant with the highest score will enter a draw to receive G or U Series coffees as a prize!

 

We believe this challenge will become a long-term part of Oasis cupping culture.

Of course, the questions will remain a secret for now—

experienced tasters, you’re more than welcome to come and take on the challenge!

We’ll also provide detailed introductions to each coffee’s origin and processing method,

as well as explain Oasis’s systems for coffee grading and roast profiling.
