Jurutungo

This coffee comes from the northernmost border of Panama, almost reaching Costa Rica.

Due to its high latitude, the coffee cherries here are the last to ripen in all of Panama, resulting in exceptionally high sweetness. Like Longboard, it is quite renowned.

Finca Jurutungo is a coffee farm operated by the Gallardo family. One of the family’s sons is the famous Pcho. His farm, Finca Nuguo, won the BOP (Best of Panama) Innovation Category Champion in 2016, and also took second place in both the Natural and Washed categories. In 2021, Finca Nuguo once again claimed the BOP Champion title.

In this coffee, we clearly taste notes of pomegranate, passion fruit, and an outstanding sweetness.
